So for the longest time I just thought I was weird and couldn't figure out why I acted so strange compared to everyone else. I just figured something was wrong with me. Until I stated researching the different parts of my personality test. Ive taken the Myers Briggs personality test multiple times and either come up being INFP or INFJ. So I am guessing I am in the middle. But the most interesting part was the "I" part. This explained a lot. The "I" stands for Introvert and I never really thought anything about it other then maybe it meant I was shy or Internally focused. It turns out it explains why I act the way I do. Introverts, including myself, are mostly quiet. As wikipedia puts it, Introverts tend to be quiet, low-key, deliberate, and relatively non-engaged in social situations. This one sentence describes me perfectly. The only time I am ever relax is with a few close friends or by myself. Even if I am in a room with more then two of my friends I stay quiet and listen to what they have to say. It also said I "fade" when many people are around me. If I am with a group of people I start to space out and sorta feel tired. This happen to me today when I was eating at Hops with Tara's family and last night when I went to a party with some friends. In the past ive tried to change these tendencies by changing the way I act, but have never succeeded. This could be because its more of a physical condition with the brain rather then a programmed response. Studies have shown the Introverts use more their frontal lobes more then extroverts as well as their anterior or frontal thalamus. These areas are responsible for planning and problem solving. This explains another reason why I like engineering. So if I am quiet just keep talking because I love to listen! :)
